Our black lab leaves so much hair around the house that we had to vacuum every other day or we could see clumps on the floor. After using this brush, I went a whole week without vacuuming and couldn't believe that there was almost no hair on the floor! This brush works great. I saw it in a pet store in Chicago for twice the price and thought I'd check it out online to save some money. I saved a lot. One tip, though...read the directions before you use it. Don't brush too hard or too long or it'll hurt your dogs skin. It's pretty sharp and if you go too fast or long with the strokes it takes off the hair but irritates the skin and causes a rash.
