I was a bit skeptical but thought I'd give the Furminator a try since I was tired of all the dog hair everywhere! I swept/vacuumed up at least a puppy worth of hair every single day. If I wore black slacks, I had to "roll them" before leaving the house and then dodge Maggie the Wonder Dog on my way out the door.
The Furminator has changed all of that. It is simple to use, Maggie doesn't mind it much and it makes a huge difference not only for the house, but she doesn't scratch as much without all that extra hair. I suggest using it outside or on a hard floor and not on the carpet unless you are prepared to vacuum. A good brushing with the Furminator lasts at least 3-4 weeks before you begin to notice more shedding.
