I received the large 4" tool a couple of days ago. It's impressively well made and comfortable to hold.

It's an interesting device to use, nothing at all like a normal dog comb or brush, in my experience. It seems to work as advertised so far, but I'll need to use it for at least another month or so to see whether or not the shedding decreases significantly, as promised.

How it differs from all of the other brushes and combs that I've used is that it doesn't accumulate a ton of fur in the teeth of the tool, which requires you to stop and clean out the brush frequently. This tool just drags out the loose hair and lets most of it fly free. You definitely want to use this tool outdoors or in a place where it is easy to pick up the loose hair.

I have 2 large dogs, one is a short hair and the other a long hair, both with undercoats. This tool worked nicely on both dogs and did not snag or pull the hair. Neither dog objected to my use of the tool, which is rather unusual. Neither of them really like getting brushed or combed. My male, the long hair, was content to sit and let me brush him with the tool for quite a while.

Overall, I'm impressed with the tool so far. Hopefully, it will also deliver on the promise of significant shedding reduction in 4 to 6 weeks.
