Before buying this product our Jack Russell Terrier was a shedding nightmare. It was so bad that we were reluctant to even touch our dog, because every time we did there was a massive explosion of hair everywhere. The FURminator does a wonderful job of stripping off all the dead hair and our dog loves all the extra attention. We never thought we'd ever allow our JRT on the furniture, but after using the FURminator he can sleep wherever he wants and we cuddle with him no matter what clothes we're wearing (even black clothes).
