The FURminator has greatly decreased the amount of cat fur I have in my house. I have 4 indoor cats (2 short hair and 2 long hair) and there is significantly less fur in the chair they have claimed and fur that is vacuumed (I have a Dyson- also recommended for pet owners). Before using the FURminator their chair would be covered in fur within a few days. I wanted to see how well it worked, so as a basis of comparison, I waited to vacuum thier chair until it was covered in fur. Now that I use a FURminator on them it takes 3 weeks for the same amount of fur to be on their chair that had previously taken only one week. I use the FURminator on them at least once every 2 weeks. Preferably once a week if possible- especially during shedding season. Make sure to brush your pet outside or in a small, contained non-carpeted room (bathroom or laundry room) if possible when using the FURminator. Otherwise, you will have a lot of fur floating around the house. It's amazing the amount of fur that this deShedding tool removes.
