I had heard great things about the Furminator so my expectations were high when I ordered it. Honestly, I'm sorry I didn't make a video of the amount of hair I removed from my Beagle the first time I tried it! It works wonderfully and said Beagle seemed to actually enjoy the process (she lay there with her eyes closed as I brushed her) The other great thing about it is that the teeth are so finely spaced (similar to a flea comb) that I'm pretty sure that it would have detected any fleas she might have had at the same time as I was brushing her.
