I was skeptical about anything that promised to control my dog's shedding. But the reviews were pretty impressive so I bought it. This thing is a life saver! I've never tried a deshedding tool before so I don't know how it compares to less expensive models. But I would highly recommend this. We got enough shed off my roommate's dog to make four new dogs. Both our dogs seemed to enjoy the feel of the tool as well.
