I am very impressed with the FURminator. Before I purchased this, I watched several videos and read reviews - the FURminator really works as well as they say it does. I loathe the old slicker brush because after 2 or 3 passes I have to stop and pull all the fur out; so that's always a long process and doesn't have excellent results. My husky and husky mix shed a ton and there's always fur everywhere (seriously, it gets in places you wouldn't think possible). So after they were both brushed I bagged up all the fur that wouldn't be floating around the house. And their coats look wonderful, no little tufts of hair sticking out.
And I was thrilled to pay $17 for something that normally costs $50. At that price for a dog brush, I don't think I would have given it a second glance.
