I heard this worked better than other combs, so I decided to purchase it to help cut down on the shedding my short hair dog does. It works well, combing a handful of hair off of my dog very quickly. It is as easy to use as the brush, and it is very easy to clean. I don't get much hair off of my short hair dog, and I imagine this works better on long hair dogs.
