I own four labradors,this brush removes the downy fine undercoat,that is dead and leaves the live healty fur on the labs,use outdoors as it does remove a mountain of fur ....we also brush two other labs that live close by,and my son uses it on his cat ! I have ordered at least 6 of these off of amazon,for othr dog owners....as the pet stores want $50.00 to $60.00 for the same brush in their stores ...buy one,you won't regret it !
