Takes out lots of hair, but takes lots of time to get a good result. I felt like I was brushing my dog for an hour by the time I got all of his hair off. I guess this is more of my dogs fault than the brush but still. Overall I am glad I purchased it although it hasn't seem to cut down on the shedding as much as expected.
