We purchased the Furminator after seeing the great results on my brother's golden retriever. We have a golden mix. Every time you would pet him or he would walk by, you would end up with your share of his fur. After several sessions with our new Furminator (he doesn't sit still very long) he looks beautiful and we are seeing much less fur floating off of him. I really think he likes how it feels when I use it. While it doesn't completely eliminate loose fur, it certainly cut back on it considerably. It doesn't take long to use and I feel with regular use we'll see even better results with our fur problem. It doesn't hurt him and doesn't pull on his fur, just catches all the loose stuff.
