This is a god send product. Although our dog is short haired, she sheds (I swear) enough hair to make a new dog every other day it seems like. I can use this on her, she loves it, on the carpet and even in the car. Picks up hair better than a shop-vac. Highly recommend. You don't apply heavy pressure.
