I was actually sold on this product after taking my dog to the vet. She had the 2-inch version, and within a matter of a couple minutes had "removed" more hair from my dog than I had ever been able to get in one sitting with my normal brush. Since I have a larger dog (german shepherd), I ordered the 4-inch tool, and have been very pleased with the results so far. My dog seems to enjoy sitting through groomings a little more, as well.
