I don't know why I put off buying this brush for so long! It seemed expensive, but if something happened to this brush I would buy it again now in a heartbeat. I brushed my fluffy border collie regularly before, but he still shed everywhere. When I first tried the Furminator on him, I was amazed at the huge amount of fur that came out of him! He seemed to enjoy being brushed with the Furminator. It is not scratchy and does not pull too hard on his fur. The shedding is much less of a problem, and I spend less time chasing after dust bunnies.
