The FURminator is great. It really does get out the undercoat and helps keep the dogs' hair off the floor. We have six dogs and the FURminator got rid of a garbage can full of hair the first day we used it! Three of the dogs love to be "FURminated", two don't seem to mind it and one absolutely hates it, so we think that it probably is not causing pain from pulling.
