The Furminator is an expensive dog brush but well worth it. I'm sorry I waited so long to purchase it. It's astonishing the amount of hair that comes out - I'm amazed our dog isn't bald by now! But it never hurts him, and he doesn't mind it at all, even though he was never a fan of being brushed. He's a long-haired shephard/greyhound combo, but the Furminator works incredibly well on our Lab too.
