The first time I used this, I brushed out enough hair to create a pile the size of the cat. I repeated a second day and got even more hair out, and by this time the cat had a very sleek coat, and the cat-hair tumbleweeds disappeared almost overnight.
I'm worried about the metal comb portion, and if damaged it will require replacement of the entire brush. This differs from other models I've seen in stores where the combs can be removed and replaced.
