How often do we read glowing advertisement of a product, only to be disappointed in how it works! Well, that is not the case here. I have a 13 year old yellow lab who sheds all the time and terribly twice a year. The problem has always been that I have tried to brush her (with three different types of tools) and I end up chasing her around the house or yard where she finally backs herself into a corner so I can only brush part of her. Then she gets up and leaves. She hates being brushed.
I did approach her with some confidence with the large size FURminator, after having read the reviews. I saw no need for a bag to pick up the hair, as I have never got more than a couple of handfuls off of her. This was different. She actually liked being brushed and after a couple of minutes she LAID DOWN and let me brush her. I got off so much hair, even though we were outside I had to get a broom and sweep it up.
