There is a large price difference between the 4-inch and "equine" furminators. I have a friend with the equine one and was using that. Rather than continue using hers I got my own, but saw this 4-inch (large) Furminator that works just as well on my horse as the more expensive "equine" model. I love this tool and find myself using it instead of the curry comb and other shedding tools.
