A few uses of this 'brush', which the dogs (including my daughter's) wait in line for me to use on them (and I didn't teach them to do this - they thought it up all by themselves!), and the amount of hair has been significantly reduced. I have to be gentle on the tender areas of my Pitty's tummy, but careful, medium-pressure strokes up top really take out all the loose hair/undercoat.
