I came across this tool by accident. I was desperate to get rid of the hair my 11 year old beagle was leaving around my house. 11 years of Shed Less Liquids, combs, brushes, sponges. None did the job. I googled "can I shave a beagle?" and hit a site where someone (an angry someone) on a forum asked why anyone would shave a beagle, and why they wouldn't just use the Furminator. I was of course willing to give it a try, as I had tried everyhing else. Well, THIS IS THE BEST! I wish I knew of it years ago. It takes out the undercoat, which is apparently the part that does the most shedding. My dog's coat looks bright and shiny. You will be amazed how much hair comes out. I think she feels better too. Amazon has the best price too. Some dog store that were charging double the price. I never wrote a product review before but felt I really needed to with this. You won't be disappointed.
