Our frenchie was having a terrible shedding problem - hair everywhere. We tried groomers, pills, shampoos, brushing, and more. Finally purchased the Furminator after watching a video of a pug. This tool works great, and the size is perfect.
We spent just a few minutes brushing the first night and had to empty the brush 6 times. There was fur everywhere - but in a good way this time! Two things I have to watch out for when grooming - my frenchie's whiskers are too thick to fit through the comb, so those got tugged on, and his longer hair (about 1/4 inch) on his neck sounds like it is being cut when I go over that area. It doesn't seem to be pulling or causing any pain.
